What is the merchant earning freeze period

We’ve added an earning freeze period based on the seller’s level.

For security and credit risk considerations, sellers become eligible to withdraw their earnings from sales of digital content on the Platform after the earnings freeze period (hereinafter the "Freeze Period") ends. The Freeze Period is counted from the date and time of each completed sale, and applies to the earnings of each sale individually. The Freeze Period is determined by the seller's level and changes with the seller's level. We will regularly review the Freeze Period and adjust it for sellers who meet credit and sales requirements.

When does an order enter the freeze period? How is the sale completed:


1. Orders without Platform insurance: The freeze period begins after the buyer confirms receipt on the order page. (Sellers are advised to remind buyers to confirm their orders after all deliveries are complete. If the buyer does not manually confirm receipt, the system will automatically confirm receipt 7 days after delivery.)

2. For certain services and products with Platform insurance: After confirming receipt, the Platform insurance period expires, and the freeze period begins.

3. Products with installment insurance: Due to the long release period for installment insurance, the products with installment insurance will not have the earning freeze period.


Z2U reserves the right at our sole discretion to adjust the freeze period for each merchant and product. These adjustments may be initiated based on store sales, detected safety or other risks, and/or any other reasons determined by Z2U. Merchants will be notified of these adjustments through Merchant Services messages, in-site announcement, and email notifications.
