User guide for "img2ico"
The main function of the "img2ico" application is to convert various image files into ICO files.
(1) Drag and drop an image file or folder containing image files with the mouse to the path input box ("Input Path") or click the "Browse..." button on the right, and then select the image file to convert. You can choose an image file to convert it to an ICO file, or select "Cancel" and then choose a folder containing image files to batch convert all the image files in this folder to ICO files. The image file extensions include *.png, *. jpg, *.jpeg, *.bmp, *.tif, *.tiff, *.jfif, and *.webp.
(2) The "Preview" box in the middle of the interface displays the image file to be converted. If the "Input Path" selects a folder containing image files, there may be multiple image files.
(3) The "Icon Sizes" checkbox on the left side of the interface contains ten sizes: 16, 24, 32, 48, 64, 72, 96, 128, 256, and 512, which can be converted into ICO files containing multiple sizes. A high-quality ICO file typically contains multiple images of different sizes to accommodate different application scenarios and resolution requirements. Below the checkbox are three buttons: "Select All", "Invert", and "Deselect All".
(4) Click the "Convert to ICO" button at the bottom of the interface to convert and save the ICO file converted from the image file, and a prompt box will pop up indicating successful conversion.
