Account Usage Rental Terms of Service

To ensure a secure and transparent account rental process for both buyers (renters) and sellers (lenders), Z2U provides the following operational and compliance guidelines. Please read carefully before proceeding with any rental-related transactions.

1. Seller Provides Temporary Account Access

The seller must provide temporary access credentials for the account to be rented. These credentials should only be valid for the rental period and must not contain any permanent or personal information.

1.1 Login Credentials
Account and temporary password.
It is strongly recommended that the seller set a unique temporary password for each renter.
After the rental ends, the seller should reset the password immediately.

1.2 Account Binding and Verification
Sellers must disable two-factor authentication (2FA) or provide real-time verification support during the renter's login process.
Avoid sharing any personal email or phone number bound to the account. Use a temporary verification method if possible.

1.3 Account Restrictions
Sellers should clearly specify any usage restrictions, such as region limits, time zones, or access platforms (e.g. Steam, EA App, PlayStation, Xbox).
Sellers must ensure the account is in good standing, with no active bans or penalties before rental begins.

2. Buyer Verifies Account Functionality

After receiving access credentials, the renter must verify the account before starting use.

2.1 Login Test
Use the provided login details to access the account. If 2FA is required, coordinate with the seller to complete verification.

2.2 Functionality Check
Confirm that the account includes the games, features, or memberships advertised by the seller.
Ensure the account's service region and language match the buyer's requirements.
Report any mismatch or restriction to the seller before active use.

3. Usage Rules During Rental Period

To protect both parties, the renter must comply with the following usage terms:

3.1 No Account Modification
Renters are prohibited from changing any login credentials, binding information (email, phone, security questions), or linked platforms.
Do not enable new 2FA or replace authentication devices.

3.2 Account Security and Conduct
The renter must use the account only for personal entertainment and within the authorized rental duration.
Any abuse, illegal modification, or sharing of the rented account will result in immediate order termination without refund.
Renters should avoid triggering any security alerts (e.g., frequent logins from different devices or regions).

3.3 Responsibility During Rental
During the rental period, the renter is responsible for all actions performed on the account.
If the account is banned, restricted, or altered due to renter behavior, the seller has the right to refuse compensation.

4. Rental Period and Termination

4.1 Rental Start Time
The rental period officially begins when the buyer successfully logs into the account.

4.2 Seller Restores Account
At the end of the rental term, the seller must:

  • Change the password immediately

  • Re-enable 2FA and restore original security bindings

  • Check account integrity (game access, saved data, subscription validity, etc.)

4.3 Buyer Access Termination
The renter must log out from all devices and not attempt to reaccess the account.
Unauthorized access beyond the rental period will be treated as a violation.

5. Refund Policy

If during the rental period the buyer is unable to continue using the account due to issues attributable to the seller, Z2U Platform will provide a full refund to the buyer after verification.

6. Dispute Resolution

If any issue arises during the rental process (e.g., early access removal, invalid credentials, or false product description):

  • The buyer should contact the seller via Z2U Chat first

  • If no resolution is reached, file a case in the Z2U Dispute Center and provide screenshots or videos as evidence

  • Z2U will review and handle the case according to the Account Rental Policy

Important Notice

Account rental does not grant ownership or permanent access rights.
All accounts remain under the original owner's control.
Z2U acts only as a transaction intermediary and is not responsible for any changes made outside the platform or after the rental period.

Listing rental products in categories where the account usage rental service attribute is not enabled is considered a violation by Z2U Platform. Penalties for such violations will be administered with reference to the Seller Code of Conduct.
