Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Ubisoft's highly anticipated new title, blends open-world exploration with the historical legends of Sengoku Japan. However, what's less known is that the game also hides an exciting Attack on Titan crossover story quest, waiting to be discovered by true fans. Do you want to experience this unique crossover adventure? We highly recommend Buy Assassin's Creed Shadows Account through Z2U to fully own the game and immediately step into that strange world where giants and assassins intertwine.

To start the Attack on Titan questline in Assassin's Creed Shadows, unlock Yasuke first. Then, fast-travel to Hanazono Castle and head northeast to the border of Omi, where you'll find the 'Beyond the Walls' marker near dead Survey Corps members. Follow the quest, which leads you to investigate a defector with Titan powers, kicking off the limited-time story event. Remember, this collaboration ends on December 22, after which missions and rewards will be unavailable.
Through the Cavern
When the quest begins, Naoe enters a cavern. Immediately go prone and take the left crawl space to find a chest with a Training Corps Emblem Banner. Next, throw a shuriken at the explosive barrels to open a new entrance for Yasuke and Ada, then exit the crawl space and jump through the newly opened gap.
Follow the path, slicing through hardening crystals with your weapon. Use your grapple to descend from the cave roof. In the next large area, before crossing, drop down to find a chest containing a Military Police Banner. Then, use crystals and ledges to climb to a stone platform.

Reach Gautwin
For the grand finale of the Attack on Titan questline in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, guide Naoe through a relentless series of swings and leaps between grapple points amidst the shimmering crystal cavern. Eliminate the Elitrasi Fanatics who stand in your way as you advance, pushing ever closer to your target, Gautwin. This climactic sequence is deliberately straightforward—focus on constant motion. Simply keep swinging, traversing walkways, and climbing every wooden structure in your path. You need not conserve your tools, as numerous 'Refill Tools' crates are strategically placed to ensure your kunai and shuriken are always replenished.
To get the Attack on Titan Scout Regiment Banner, look for a series of tall climbing platforms on your right while using the grapple. When you reach a wooden platform, turn right and use a Leap of Faith into a hay pile near a loose plank. From the hay, climb the ice walls marked with wooden planks to find the banner chest at the top. Grapple points nearby will let you return. Be warned: you cannot backtrack past certain points. If you miss it, you must reload a previous save.
Before freeing Gautwin, complete a triple grapple swing and look for a wooden plank beside a hay pile. Ignore Gautwin for now and instead perform a Leap of Faith from the plank into the hay below.Descend, follow the crystal path, and climb the marked wall to find Lord Ritter and his guards. Defeat them, prioritizing Ritter, then claim the Eren Yeager Titan statue from the chest below. Finally, use the nearby grapple points and a zipline to return to your main objective.
To reach Gautwin, climb the wooden structures and use grapple swings from a higher point. Carefully execute the final double grapple swing, releasing slightly early to land on the platform.First, eliminate Albrecht's guards to avoid being overwhelmed. Then, focus on Albrecht himself. His attacks are often parryable, and you can use an arquebus to break his armor. Dodge when you see his red glow.

After the fight, Albrecht transforms into a Titan. You cannot defeat it here; your only objective is to escape. Run quickly through the caverns, using all your traversal skills. This Titan is fast, so do not stop. Keep running, jump and climb efficiently, and have Yasuke smash through crystal walls. Once he breaks through the final wall, the mission ends and "The World Outside" begins.
Should Gautwin Return Home Or Go Elsewhere?
The final choice is Gautwin's destiny. The narratively consistent option is to convince him to return home and fulfill his oath, as Yasuke suggests. This aligns with the quest's themes, while the alternative feels less fitting.Upon completion, you receive 3000 XP, the legendary Cavern Shard katana, and an engraving. The katana gives Naoe a unique crystalline cosmetic appearance, mimicking Titan Hardening, but provides no combat stats.
Completing this special mission will add a unique memory to your gaming experience.
