Once Human has entered its two-year anniversary celebration. The official team has officially announced the 2nd Anniversary event themed ‘Dreamy Maelstrom’, which has launched alongside the Version 3.0.1 update. This anniversary celebration not only introduces new limited-time gameplay, anniversary-exclusive Deviations, but also adds the highly anticipated First Person Mode, the new RaidZone gameplay RaidFest, a free dye system, and a large number of anniversary rewards for both new and returning players.
According to the official Once Human announcement, the anniversary event will begin after the Version 3.0.1 update on July 9, 2026 (PT) and will continue until July 30. Through the Dreamy Maelstrom event, the developers aim to thank players for their support over the past two years while providing more opportunities for new and returning players to Buy Once Human Account access, enter the world of Nalcott, and enjoy the refreshed experience.
Before the official anniversary celebration began, the developers first launched the anniversary pre-registration event. Players could participate through the official website to complete activities including character selection, daily draws, server reservation goals, and inviting friends. According to the official announcement, once the number of reservations reached different milestone levels, all players would be able to unlock corresponding rewards, including anniversary-exclusive Deviations and other resource rewards.
After the anniversary version officially launched, Dreamy Maelstrom introduced multiple event sections, including Dreamy Rift combat gameplay, anniversary login rewards, the Dreamy Wave reward system, anniversary surprise events, and exclusive packages for new and returning players.

One of the biggest highlights of this anniversary celebration is Dreamy Rift.
According to the official introduction, this gameplay mode is a limited-time challenge activity where players can form teams of 1 to 4 players and enter an independent Rift battlefield to fight waves of enemies. During the challenge, players need to continuously defeat enemies while selecting enhancement effects to improve their abilities.
The core mechanics of Dreamy Rift are similar to Roguelike progression gameplay. After completing every two waves of enemies, players can choose one of three Mod enhancement options to strengthen their characters. Players also have a chance to obtain special Overclock Mods, which enhance weapon effects, such as increasing area damage, adding bouncing effects, and providing special attack abilities.
The official team stated that completing Dreamy Rift challenges will reward players with Armor Mod Crates, Anniversary Draw Tickets, Starchrom, Mod Dust, and other rewards. Players who achieve high rankings on the leaderboard can also receive additional honor rewards.
In addition to anniversary event content, one of the biggest functional updates in Version 3.0.1 is First Person Mode.The developers previously revealed this feature through development updates, and it has now officially launched with the anniversary version. Players can now explore the world, use weapons, perform melee attacks, and interact with objects from a first-person perspective. For Once Human players, First Person Mode provides a more immersive survival and exploration experience, allowing players to experience the post-apocalyptic world from a perspective closer to their character’s viewpoint.

Crimson Insight is the anniversary-exclusive version of ZapCam. According to the official announcement, this Deviation features a brand-new red appearance and can be obtained through anniversary events.
A new member of the Mr. Wish family, Penguin Hope, will also appear during the anniversary celebration. The official team stated that this Deviation can be obtained through anniversary activities and RaidZone gameplay.
Behemoth is one of the newly added Deviations in this anniversary version. According to the official introduction, it features a unique appearance and combat abilities, while also providing a riding experience. Players can obtain it through anniversary activities and open-world gameplay.
