Arknights: Endfield is moving into its next major chapter with Dreamscape of Wind and Snow, a substantial new version update launching on September 2, 2026. The update takes players beyond the familiar landscapes of Wuling and into the supernatural Snowy Forest, while introducing new Operators, weapons, story content, events and a wide range of quality-of-life improvements. With so much new content arriving throughout September, returning players who want to jump back in with existing progression can also browse Cheap Arknights: Endfield Accounts for sale on Z2U before exploring the new version.
The update is headlined by Typhoeus, a familiar Operator from the original Arknights who makes her Endfield debut as a 6-star Operator. However, Dreamscape of Wind and Snow extends well beyond a new character banner. Later in the version, players will also explore Suiming, experience a repeating time-loop puzzle, recruit the new 5-star Operator Purrchena, and gain access to additional activities and progression systems.
Dreamscape of Wind and Snow officially launches on September 2, 2026.
The update requires scheduled maintenance, with the Asia server going offline from 06:00 to 12:00 UTC+8 on September 2. Americas and Europe maintenance runs from 17:00 to 23:00 UTC-5 on September 1.

One of the biggest additions is the Snowy Forest, a new environment near Yinglung Pass that serves as a major setting for the next part of Endfield's story.
Rather than simply introducing another snowy biome, GRYPHLINE describes the area as a supernatural forest affected by unusual phenomena. Typhoeus encounters the Endministrator and Chief Engineer Andre here, and the group becomes trapped in an enchanted fog that causes travelers to lose their way and repeatedly circle through the forest.
The snowy environment also benefits from new graphical improvements. Characters, selected facilities and ornamental objects can display more detailed snow adhesion and accumulation, helping the new environment feel more reactive.
Players exploring the region will also encounter Gloomwald's Rage, a new regional boss connected to the Snowy Forest.
The headline Operator of Dreamscape of Wind and Snow is Typhoeus, who will already be familiar to players of the original Arknights.
In Endfield, Typhoeus fights with a large bow and emphasizes aerial movement, ranged attacks and Nature damage. Her combat style allows her to attack while airborne, helping her avoid some ground-based threats while targeting enemies from above.
Her kit also includes a Barrage Array, which can slow enemies and contribute to Nature Burst-focused combat. Traps and concentrated ranged attacks further reinforce her identity as a mobile bow user.
Her arrival is accompanied by a new narrative event, A Winter Dream Fogged Deep in the Woods, tying her story directly to the mysteries surrounding the Snowy Forest.
Typhoeus will be featured in the new Winter Hunt Chartered Headhunting banner.
Winter Hunt opens after the Dreamscape of Wind and Snow update and runs until September 30, 2026 at 11:59 server time. Players must complete the main mission Chapter I Process I: Break the Siege to participate.
The 6-star Operators that can appear include:
Typhoeus
Liino
Arcane
Ember
Lifeng
Ardelia
Last Rite
Pogranichnik
Typhoeus receives the Rate-Up during this banner.
The Fletched Irontip limited-time sign-in event will also run alongside Winter Hunt. By accumulating sign-ins, players can obtain rewards including five Fletched Irontip HH Permits. Additional permits can be exchanged at a discount through the AIC Quota Exchange.
A Combat Drills Operator Trial Event will also be available, giving players another piece of supporting content during the banner period.

Dreamscape of Wind and Snow also expands the weapon selection.
One of the headline additions is the 6-star Arts Unit Umbra of Frigid Eventide, featured as the Rate-Up weapon in the Deep Cold Issue.
Other 6-star weapons that may appear include Exemplar, Clannibal, Valiant, Oblivion, Detonation Unit and Rapid Ascent.
Each Arsenal Issue provides 10 random weapons, with at least one guaranteed to be 5-star or higher. Players use Arsenal Tickets to participate, while the Arsenal Exchange also allows certain weapons to be purchased directly with Arsenal Tickets.
Typhoeus is not the only new Operator included in Dreamscape of Wind and Snow.
The update also introduces Purrchena, a new 5-star Operator who can be recruited for free through version content. Unlike Typhoeus, Purrchena is tied to the later phase of the update rather than the September 2 launch.
Purrchena's content begins on September 24, alongside another major addition to the version: Suiming.
This structure makes Dreamscape of Wind and Snow more than a single-day content drop. Its major features are distributed across multiple stages throughout September.
Beginning September 24, players will be able to explore Suiming, an area built around a significantly different concept from conventional Endfield exploration.
Suiming is designed as a large puzzle-exploration environment featuring a repeating time loop. Players must investigate the city and use what they discover across repeated cycles to progress further.
This creates two distinct exploration experiences within the same version:
Snowy Forest focuses on Typhoeus, supernatural fog, story progression and the new snowy environment.
Suiming shifts toward puzzle solving, exploration and a repeating time-loop mechanic.
Suiming therefore gives players another major reason to return later in September instead of exhausting all of the version's new exploration content immediately after launch.
Dreamscape of Wind and Snow also includes several additional activities that will roll out during the version.
Confirmed content includes:
Trial of the Bow
Chubby Lung Attacks
Runners' Steeplechase
New Echoes of War content
Additional sign-in and version activities
Not all of these events begin on September 2, so players should pay attention to the version schedule as more content becomes available.

The update also makes several improvements to existing systems rather than focusing entirely on new playable content.
AIC Factory construction receives a new Continue Placing feature. When enabled, players can repeatedly place facilities, ornamentals or plots without leaving Construction Status as long as the required objects remain in their Backpack.
Blueprint creation is also being improved. When players select more facilities than a blueprint can save, the interface will display both the current selection count and the blueprint limit in real time.
Other confirmed improvements include:
Enhanced snowy weather visuals and snow accumulation.
A Hide UI option for story dialogue.
Improvements to Reception Room Clue management.
Continued gifting even when an Operator has reached maximum Trust.
A new Progression Overview for Operators, weapons and materials.
Easier stage navigation for Echoes of War.
Reduced loading during certain stage-selection processes.
Clear-time information for supported combat stages.
Together, these changes should reduce some of the repetitive menu navigation involved in factory construction, character management and repeated combat activities.
September 24 will also introduce the first RE-Factor Headhunting banner, Resplendent Spectrum, featuring an increased chance to obtain the 6-star Operator Yvonne.
The new banner type guarantees at least one 5-star or higher Operator within 10 attempts and a 6-star within 80 attempts. The official developer communication also outlines additional milestone rewards and guarantee mechanics specifically associated with RE-Factor Headhunting.
A corresponding weapon-focused RE-Factor Issue is also planned, further expanding the second phase of the version.
Dreamscape of Wind and Snow looks substantial because its content is spread across several areas of Arknights: Endfield rather than revolving around a single Operator.
The September 2 launch introduces the Snowy Forest, Typhoeus, Winter Hunt, new weapons, story content and multiple system improvements. The version then expands again on September 24 with Suiming, Purrchena, RE-Factor Headhunting and additional activities.
The Snowy Forest also receives a distinct musical identity inspired by Sámi musical culture, Nordic traditions, JRPG music and electronic production. Finnish electronic musician Vilma Jää collaborated on the version's Nordic folk-electronic musical direction, helping distinguish the new region from previous areas.
With a supernatural snowy region, a returning Arknights Operator, new combat and progression content, a later time-loop exploration map and extensive quality-of-life changes, Dreamscape of Wind and Snow gives Arknights: Endfield players considerably more to explore than a standard banner update. The first wave begins September 2, while several of the version's most unusual additions are being reserved for later in the month. Players who want to experience the new content with an established roster and existing progression can also Buy Arknights: Endfield Account on Z2U as another way to prepare for the adventures ahead.
