Players in Temtem always search on Google about luma Temtem, like:"Can you breed a luma Temtem? What is Luma in Temtem? How can you tell if a Temtem is Luma?" Like that other fighting creature collecting game, Temtem has ultra-rare versions of every species called Luma. That is everything we know about Temtem Luma.
What Are Luma Temtem?
Luma Temtem are primarily different-coloured versions of Temtem that often (but not always) have a luminous pale blue colouring instead of their normal colours. They also generate a little flashy corona of stars when you send them out or first encounter them, making it clear that they are Luma. More importantly, Luma have boosted Single Values (core stats like speed, attack and so on). All Temtem have Single Values between 1-50 for their stats, but for a Luma, three of those stats will randomly be 50: a perfect score, making Luma inherently more powerful than other Temtem of that type and level.
How to catch Luma Temtem
Catching one in the wild might seem the easiest option, but the odds of running into them is ridiculously rare. Your chances of coming across one as you're skipping through the game's grassy areas are 1 in 8000, so the odds are pretty slim. However, if you do come across one, don't panic. Slowly whittle down its health and use debuffs on it, such as Sleep. If you're caught in a position where all your Temtem are too powerful for your target, play the waiting game. Keep telling your Temtem to rest and the Luma Temtem will eventually exhaust itself. When its health is in the red chuck a Temcard and cross all your fingers and toes.
The best solution is to chain a large number of encounters of the desired Temtem in the wild. This method consists in going to an area where the Temtem is common. Your patience will be your best asset. In early access, all the creatures are not yet available in Luma form so you have to be careful not to hunt just anyone.
Luma breeding is a little different. If you breed two normal Temtem together, the chances of the baby being Luma are the same as if you caught one: 1/6000. However, if one of the parents is already a Luma, the chances of getting a Luma baby increase to 1/600, which is ten times higher than before. If both parents are Luma, the probability increases again to 1/60.
