ESPN Plus Subscription

ESPN (originally an initialism for Entertainment and Sports Programming Network) is an American international basic cable sports channel owned by ESPN Inc., owned jointly by The Walt Disney Company (80%) and Hearst Communications (20%). The company was founded in 1979 by Bill Rasmussen along with his son Scott Rasmussen and Ed Eagan. In addition to the flagship channel and its seven related channels in the United States, ESPN broadcasts in more than 200 countries. It operates regional channels in Australia, Brazil, Latin America, and the United Kingdom. In Canada, it owns a 20% interest in The Sports Network (TSN) and its five sister networks.

Although not all sports are featured heavily on the service, it’s a particularly great place for fans of soccer and UFC.

Just like other streaming services, all you need to do is boot up the ESPN app on any supported device (or open the ESPN website) and choose the content you want to watch. If you’re tuning into live broadcast content you have the option to start your stream at the beginning of the broadcast, as well. Both the ESPN website and app interfaces make it easy to find something to watch. The first row has all current live matches, and subsequent rows have top picks and other content. You can also use the menu to further break things down or access stats and analytics.
